We’re looking for a Privacy Analyst who can research, analyze, and synthesize privacy laws and regulations across African and Gulf countries to power our platform.
Role Overview
As a Privacy Analyst, you’ll be responsible for monitoring and analyzing data protection laws across African and Gulf jurisdictions. Your work will directly feed into our Regulatory Intelligence module, helping thousands of businesses stay compliant.
You’ll work with legal experts, product teams, and engineers to ensure our platform accurately reflects the regulatory landscape across these regions.
Key Responsibilities
Research and analyze data protection laws across African and Gulf countries
Monitor regulatory developments and enforcement actions
Create compliance guides and regulatory summaries for the platform
Collaborate with product teams to define regulatory intelligence features
Review and validate platform compliance recommendations
Support customer inquiries related to regulatory requirements
Contribute to thought leadership content on African and Gulf data protection
Maintain a database of regulatory requirements and updates
Requirements & Qualifications
Law degree or equivalent qualification in data protection/privacy
2+ years of experience in data protection, privacy law, or compliance
Knowledge of African and Gulf data protection frameworks (NDPA, POPIA, UAE, Saudi, etc.)
Strong research and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to translate legal concepts into practical guidance
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple jurisdictions
Familiarity with compliance technology is a plus
