Ulinzi is building the leading privacy compliance platform for African and Gulf businesses. Our platform simplifies complex regulatory requirements into intuitive workflows.

We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer who can translate complex compliance processes into beautiful, accessible, and easy-to-use interfaces.

Role Overview

As a UX/UI Designer at Ulinzi, you’ll own the end-to-end design process for our platform. You’ll conduct user research, create wireframes and prototypes, and deliver polished visual designs that make privacy compliance feel effortless.

You’ll collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ensure designs are implemented faithfully and meet the needs of our diverse user base across Africa and the Gulf.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct user research and usability testing with customers across Africa and the Gulf
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
Design responsive interfaces for web and mobile platforms
Develop and maintain a consistent design system
Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate implementation
Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design practices
Present design decisions to stakeholders with clear rationale
Stay current with design trends and compliance UX best practices

Requirements & Qualifications

3+ years of UX/UI design experience for SaaS or enterprise products
Proficiency with Figma or similar design tools
Strong portfolio demonstrating complex workflow design
Experience with design systems and component libraries
Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
Experience conducting user research and usability testing
Strong visual design skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
